SEUMUS MacLANE'S PAGEMASTER SITE

To begin with...THANK YOU for viewing the Scottish Society Site. We really appreciate your visit here. I have been busy on other projects but my work there is finished and I can get back to full time work with The Scottish Society of South Texas. If you have looked at the calander page you see that we will hold meetings/programs on Saturdays in Weslaco next season. This is basically looking at the Valley as a whole, Mission to Brownsville and finding a mid-point. We know this is change (scary word) but if you look at the membership statistics it makes the most sense. In addition Burn's Night is moving to the Best Western for mostly the same reason, but additionally Terry Krider has left the Harlingen Country Club and that is a factor as well. We are finally getting the new directory out with an up-dated mailing list. Everyone will be getting cards in the mail to remind them of programs and events. We know this will improve membership and attendance. Our programs will be very interesting this year and be very informative and educational. It finally looks like the Scots are on the rise. We are also moving into our new office site at 609 S. Lewis Lane in Harlingen. A lot is going on. On a personal note, my two son's have moved to China to teach English for a year..possibly more. They arrived safely and like it where they are. This , needless to say was a stressfull time for our family. Thank you for all the Love and support, it really made a difference.
